About This Project

SPINE (Student-Produced Interconnected Narratives at Emerson) Anthology – emersonWRITES

I edited all the content including the submissions and the teacher’s introductions. I co-designed the book’s interior with its teenage audience in mind and created the overall cover design which was inspired by cover art from an emersonWRITES student. The back cover design plays on the word spine with a vector representation of a spine. This image was used because students not only write content in their various classes, but they also have a backbone as they stand up and perform their pieces during weekly open mic sessions.
